SHOW NOTES: Rachel Comey Spring 2026

Everything Tina loved at Rachel Comey's Spring 2026 show. Take notes.

Comments from Rachel Seville Tashjian's Substack Note

Tina:

The Spring Summer 2026 Rachel Comey show felt like a gathering of old friends. It was an intimate meeting of a small number of guests, which consisted of buyers, press, and her loved ones. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to see and catch up with many who I don't normally have time to see due to my hectic New York City schedule.

As is customary with all of Rachel's collections, this season featured a distinctive color palette that exuded a sense of delight. The standouts for me where the bubblegum pinks, cherry reds, rusty oranges, and citronella yellows. Some hues were used to offset gentle neutral tones. Others were combined with each other to create a quirky combination. During these times of anxiety, sadness and even anger, it was nice to be provided with a break from all of this distress.

And Rachel is the master of the cool, downtown girl silhouette. Never one to be overt in her sex appeal, the shapes were relaxed with just the right amount of volume while still feeling feminine and providing the perfect fit.

Standouts for me were an eel leather deep bordeaux textured pencil skirt, flowy cherry red silk button front skirt, citronella low heeled pump, and a black sculptural sleeveless column dress in her signature foam fabric.

Big note: The shorts.
