Covet + Lou respects your privacy, and takes great care to safeguard information in our possession. Your preferences for use of your information are our highest priority. Covet + Lou absolutely does not share client information (including email addresses). Please email hello@covetandlou.com with further questions about our privacy policy.

SECURITY

Covet + Lou uses cutting edge technology to ensure your checkout process and the content saved in your member profile are secure. Payment information, email address, shipping and billing addresses, and all other information are secured by a 128bit SSL certificate upon submission. For security purposes, our shopping cart software only stores the last 4 digits and type of our customers' credit cards.

Shipping

Covet + Lou uses the United States Postal Service for domestic and international delivery. Please see the chart below for shipping options.

FREE SHIPPING on U.S. Orders Over $250

The customer is solely responsible for the shipping expenses related to the return of any merchandise.

Covet + Lou is not responsible for loss or damage incurred by the carrier or upon delivery. Unless otherwise requested shipments from Covet + Lou go not carry the requirement of signature upon delivery.

Please note that your order will be shipped only once payment and delivery details have been approved. Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by address or payment verification.

Make sure to double check your billing and shipping address when placing an order. Covet + Lou is unable to reroute packages.

Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes. If you are shipping within the U.S., sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to Massachusetts.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Upon the completion of checkout, you will receive an email confirmation outlining the details of your order. This message will include a link that will direct you to updated tracking information.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

If client is shipping to a destination outside the U.S., tax, customs and import duties will be levied by the client’s local government in addition to Covet + Lou's shipping cost. All additional taxes and fees are the responsibility of the client. This can range from 20% to 40% of the order value.

Items will be shipped from Needham, Massachusetts (United States), with an official invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in U.S. dollars.

ALL INTERNATIONAL SALES ARE FINAL.

Covet + Lou is currently unable to ship glass, ceramics, or breakables outside of the United States.

Returns

Covet + Lou will exchange or refund non-discounted items received by Covet + Lou within 7 days of receipt of order. After 7 days orders of non-discounted items can be returned for store credit, up to 30 days from order receipt. All items must be unworn and in perfect condition with original packaging and tags intact. Intimates, hosiery, and swimwear are all final sale.

Please request a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing orders@covetandlou.com. Include your order #, date of purchase, and reason for return. Clearly write the RA on the outside of the package, using original packaging when possible. Items should be returned to:

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Your account will be credited within 10 days of receiving your return. All refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment.

If you received free shipping on your order but return said order, a shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. If there was error on the part of Covet + Lou, or you received damaged product, you will be reimbursed for all shipping charges.

Please note that Covet + Lou will not accept liability for shipping loss or damage of returned goods.

HOLIDAY RETURNS

Full price merchandise purchased between November 29 and December 24 will be permitted to be returned for a refund if the items are received back to Covet + Lou by January 4. The return of full price items that extend beyond this time frame will be considered final sale.

NOTE ON VINTAGE ITEMS

Vintage items can be returned within 5 days of order date for a full refund. Please be advised that all vintage items have been gently worn or used. Therefore, slight imperfections may be present. All vintage pieces have been thoroughly inspected and cleaned. Any obvious imperfections will be noted on the item’s product page.

POLICY ON DISCOUNTED ITEMS

Unless otherwise stated on product page, discounted items are eligible for exchange or store credit only. This is also the case for items purchased at a discount during Promotional Events (i.e. site wide discounts). Items must be returned back to Covet + Lou 7 days from receipt of order. Returns of discounted items must follow the same qualifications as non-discounted items (see above).

Covet + Lou will not hold items for exchange.

ORDER CHANGES + CANCELLATION

All orders cancelled, after they have been placed, will be charged a 10% restocking fee. No exceptions to this policy will be made. Refused packages will be assessed and charged a restocking fee.

PRICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

Covet + Lou will honor price adjustments for merchandise purchased no more than 3 days before the start of the initial sale/ promotional period. Adjustments will be issued as store credit. No price adjustments will be made on items originally purchased at discount or during a temporary promotional period.

PRICE MATCH POLICY

Covet + Lou will match the price of non-discounted items that are available on other ecommerce sites. If you find a better price, please email orders@covetandlou.com with a link to that item and we will match the price. The exact style, color and size must be available at the lower price when submitting your request. The item must be represented on an ecommerce site located in and shipping from within the United States and which sells items in US dollars. Price matching requests can be made within Covet + Lou’s 10 day return window.

POLICY ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Clients who receive orders internationally are responsible for all freight and customs charges associated with their orders.

ALL ORDERS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES ARE FINAL SALE.

RETURNS ON SPECIAL ORDERS

All special orders are items made to order and are non-refundable. A 50%, non-refundable deposit is required when placing all special orders.
