Three things you could not live without? Our kids, our vast textile collections, our iPhones.

When is honesty not the best policy? When the truth is unnecessarily painful.
Fight back or compromise? Ha! Usually a bit of both.

If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be? Dramatic.
What do you most dislike about contemporary culture? Immediacy—but do love it for inspiration.
