Who they are: Trained as cabinetmaker, Aberdeen Wood Shop founder Michael McInnis took a 25-year detour to explore literature, music, the arts, and design before renewing his love of woodworking. At his shop and showroom in Brighton, Massachusetts, he uses reclaimed wood and wood salvaged from historic homes to create minimalistic objects for modern living.
