With an elemental passion for the construction of clothing, designer Mona Kowalsa found A Détacher in 1998 in NYC. Kowalska continues to make her own patterns, creating garments that are individual explorations of surface, form and function, blending architectural posture with an unmistakable sense of lightness and humor.
