Behind The Scenes: Fall 2014 Editorial Photo Shoot

Here's a look behind the curtain, so to speak.  A couple of times in the year the extraordinarily talented Covet + Lou team assembles to produce editorial images. I love this creative process because it allows me to show you what exactly I had in mind when choosing items for the site. For this fall, we enlisted two dancers from the Boston Ballet to make the clothing come to life. The shoot was stark in nature, given the white walled backdrop and minimal make-up. But you do get a sense of the coziness of autumn the way the clothing is interpreted.

The preparation for a photo shoot such as this is arduous and the days are long. But in the end, the final product is always well worth it.
