Covet + You: Be a Winner!

We’re launching our first-ever Instagram contest, and the winner gets a killer prize: The Ace & Jig Shimmy Dress, the perfect wear-everywhere summer dress in a super soft Indian cotton. I see this going from farmer’s market to beach to al fresco dinner at your favorite seaside café… And you’ll be the only one of your friends wearing it, since the Shimmy dress is exclusive to us. A little backstory on the making of the Shimmy: I've had a longstanding relationship with Ace & Jig designers Cary and Jenna dating back to the years I owned my Newbury Street shop Stel’s. They’ve been so supportive of Covet + Lou and we talked about collaborating on an exclusive piece. The Shimmy was a shape that Cary and Jenna had designed in the past, but which had been retired in favor of new styles. But because the Shimmy was so popular, Ace & Jig re-released it this season to select shops, including Covet + Lou. I worked with Cary and Jenna to choose the right fabric to complement the rest of our spring collection. You won’t find this dress anywhere else.
